Pacific Northwest Garden Supply Ltd was started by Steven Betts in 1993 with one store in British Columbia, Canada. Having previously worked in the hydroponics industry, Steven had a strong desire to learn and to get involved in the industry by supporting urban agriculture.
Shortly after launching the first location, Steven brought on his first partner Justin Cooper to help him with the original PNW location.
For decades, the Pacific Northwest has been home to some of the world’s highest quality craft growers. A like-minded community of individuals, historically thriving in the shadows, all the while sharing knowledge and experiences with each other.
